THE PROCEDURE

Henna is applied much like regular tint. Your therapist will use a fine brush to apply the henna which is a liquid consistency. As it will stain everything it touches, it’s important to stay still while it’s being applied. Once dry, your therapist will ask you to turn your head to the side while she brushes the powder out of your brows.

Henna sculpting can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the shade you're looking to achieve and if you're having them tidied up during the treatment.

If your therapist shows you the results and you wish for them to be darker, an extra layer can easily be applied to create a deeper colour.

    BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

To prepare your skin for a henna brow treatment, please ensure your skin is thoroughly cleaned before you arrive with no oily residue left on the surface. Avoid exfoliating the area within a few days before your treatment ( as well as post treatment ) as henna stains the skin and will adhere to the dead skin cells.

    POST TREATMENT CARE

The aftercare instructions for this treatment are very important in ensuring your brow colour lasts as long as possible. Skin type does play a big part in the longevity of your henna tint and those with oily skin may see their brow colour fade sooner. It’s extremely important to keep your brows dry for 48 hours post treatment. After that, your brows can be wet but avoid rubbing or exfoliating the area - brushing them is fine. Oil based products will fade the henna faster, so avoid applying oily products to your brow area.
